Tracy Fleury

Inducted: 2026

While the phenomenal three-year run that has been enjoyed by the Rachel Homan rink, with Sudbury native Tracy Fleury at vice, has been among the best ever in the realm of women’s curling, it is honestly just the latest chapter of success for the Lockery Composite graduate who first set foot on the ice of the Idylwylde Golf & Country Club at the age of five. Championships in the bantam and junior age classifications while curling with her older sister Jennifer (Wylie) and one-time rival Amanda Gates set the stage for more than three decades of excellence in the sport.

Tracy has represented Northern Ontario, Ontario and Manitoba at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts over the years, all while becoming more and more of a presence on the international stage. She is a two-time national and world champion and now an Olympic bronze medal winner and is widely acknowledged as one of the most pleasant personalities at Grand Slam Tour events.

Notable Highlights:

  • Three time NOCA (Northern Ontario Curling Association) junior champion and five-time provincial Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion in Northern Ontario.
  • In 2024-25, Team Homan posted a season record of 75-8, culminating that run with a flawless 11-0 mark at the Scotties national championship, followed by a world title.
  • Has been recognized as an honorary lifetime member at both the Idylwylde Golf & Country Club as well as the Northern Credit Union Community Centre.
  • Advanced to the final of the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials before falling, in extra ends, to the Jennifer Jones rink.

Tracy and her husband Brent are parents to one daughter, Nina, now five years of age. Tracy is the older sister of Tanner and Jacob Horgan, both of whom are standouts on the curling scene both in Canada and abroad. A graduate of Laurentian University, Tracy now works in finance at the institution she once attended. Because of her pleasant demeanour and her pin-point accuracy in shot-making, Tracy was dubbed the “Smiling Assassin” by TV curling commentators in her homeland.
